More Clearance Ingredients

The technique on which the Head Trash Clearance Method is derived, Reflective Repatterning, is an expansive therapy with the ability to handle a vast range of emotional challenges.

In addition to other clearance frameworks, there are elements that can be introduced and mixed in where appropriate. These additional ingredients enable a deeper level of clearance when combined with the basic framework, but they also can be used alone.

These additional clearance ingredients include the following;

  • Paradoxes
  • Dialoguing
  • Logical Lists

Below I explain each of these in more detail.

Paradoxes

A paradox is a statement that sounds like it should make sense but doesn’t.

In using the Head Trash Clearance Method, we can use paradoxes as a powerful form of healing and clearance. They can be used alone, but are often tagged onto the end of the Basic Framework (5 Step HTC Method).

The paradox neutralises the emotional connection we have with the word. For us, many words come with their own mind-body programme that has evolved as we move through life. Over time, these words will carry significant emotional weight.

Consider how the following words carry meaning that will be individual to each of us; mother, cave, sea, birth, rain etc. This meaning will often include emotional content, content that won’t necessarily be helpful to us and that may weigh us down emotionally.

By neutralising the words and therefore the emotional associations, we are undertaking a new deeper level of clearance. For some people, the paradox is all that is required to shift their mindset or to help them move on or let go of something.

It’s pretty powerful so do not be fooled by its apparent simplicity.

Dialoguing with the body

During a clearance, we (or our clients) may notice sensations in our body as the energy shifts and clears out.

Sometimes we experience sensations that are quite strong and that are in fact our body communicating with us (as it always tries to!). If this happens during a clearance then it may well be that there is a message to uncover, a message that is probably linked to what we’re working on.

Logical Lists

The Head Trash Clearance method works fundamentally with the subconscious, but it’s useful to pair this up with conscious work so that we can achieve more impact. Also, some people get stuck in their heads or are very left brain, so it’s good to have alternative ways of approaching a clearance.

Logical lists is where we come up with logical reasons why something is good or bad. But in true RR style we do the opposite of what is expected. So if there is something that is inherently thought of as bad, then we will come up with reasons why it’s good, and vice versa.

This balances the left brain to the right emotional brain and reduces resistance. It also helps to answer any critical resistance that is protective in intention. The result is that it creates new neural pathways, generating a choice between an easy, relaxed route or a harder, negative, stressed route; the nervous system will choose the most favourable route.

Remember, nothing is intrinsically good or bad. It is we who put good bad judgement onto things. For example, selfishness is often thought of as bad and generosity as being good. But selfishness has good aspects just as generosity has bad aspects. As with all things, we can only free ourselves from the pull of the good or the bad through achieving neutrality.
