The Art of Clearing
The Art of Clearing
Clearing head trash is an art, and a master head trash clearance specialist is an artist. An artist is someone who feels at one with their tools – their brush, their fingers, their pencil – and their work just flows through them. There is no room for conscious interruption, they create in the moment.
Clearing head trash is the same. Sure, at a basic level, steps can be followed rigidly and great results can be achieved. In fact, by simply following the 5 Step Head Trash Clearance Method to the letter, you can surpass in results many of the best other therapies out there. But the full force of the clearance method is achieved when the person facilitating the change just gets out of the way.
The most effective way of achieving this is to work tirelessly on yourself. The more you clear, the more you will connect to your intuition. The more you clear, the less your mind will interfere and you’ll find it much easier to be present and act mindfully. But this is a journey that never ends.
Thankfully, there are other ways for us to develop our art and achieve more powerful clearance work, whether we work on ourselves or on others. That does not give us an excuse NOT to do the inner work though!
Tuning In
Tuning in allows a much deeper level of clearance work. By allowing our subconscious or higher intelligence to guide us we can park our ego and our conscious mind, and be truly guided in our work.
We can tune into our own subconscious, our body, our client’s subconscious or universal life force (or whatever word your beliefs suggest). In fact, it is simply up to us to have a clear intention as to what, where or who we would like to tune into.
By tuning in, we are able to be truly guided in our work, instead of our conscious mind making the decisions. We simply become the facilitator or the channel.
Tuning in can help us with the following;
- Deciding what technique, approach or treatment is more appropriate
- Understanding what head trash needs attention
- Deciding on where to start with something; what the priority is
- Knowing when something has been fully cleared
- Ranking head trash in terms of energetic intensity
- Knowing if something needs revisiting
- Whether any body signals have a message that needs to be listened to
- Knowing when to pause a session, or to divert into a different direction
Testing
When I teach the Head Trash Clearance Method to the wider public I say that each mantra needs to be repeated around 20 times or for about 2 minutes. As a practitioner this changes and this is all down to testing.
Instead of repeating each of the mantras for an equal amount of time, we repeat them (stay with them) until the emotional energy is cleared. Testing enables us to gauge when the energy has cleared.
You can test using
- muscle testing
- dowsing with a pendulum
- your intuition
Testing means that you are more focussed during your clearance sessions and only spend your time and energy on those aspects that need work. It also means that you’re able to ensure that the clearance is complete or done.
Things to test for during a session
- Whether something needs working on
- How much clearance is required (the extent of the excess emotional energy that needs to be cleared)
- What head trash is the priority is in terms of starting your clearance
- Which mantra or dimension is the starting point
- Whether to start with the love or hate mantra
- What modality or technique is required in that moment
- Whether to stop the session or carry on
I would encourage you to TEST EVERYTHING.
You are not the expert on the person in front of you; their higher intelligence (subconscious) is. This is why tuning in is so important. Once you’re tuned in you can be guided through your work by your testing and your intuition.
Dowsing with a Pendulum
To dowse is to search, with the aid of simple hand-held tools or instruments, for that which is otherwise hidden from view or knowledge.
Just as radios pick up information from unseen radio waves, the pendulum is a powerful antenna that receives information from the vibrations and energy waves emitted by people, places, thoughts and things.
Noted physicist, Albert Einstein, was known to perform impressive feats with such dowsing tools. He believed that it had to do with electromagnetism: just as birds migrate following the earth’s magnetic field, dowsers react to energies that are unseen and still not fully understood.
Some people say that the pendulum creates a bridge between the logical and intuitive parts of the mind. Some say that the pendulum connects them with a higher power and call it “divining” as the information is believed to come from a divine source. Research by many scientists indicates that the pendulum responds to electromagnetic energy that radiates from everything on Earth.
No one knows for sure how the pendulum works, but the important thing is that it does work! As Thomas Edison is said to have replied when asked about electricity: “I don’t know what it is, but it’s there, let’s use it.”
Other famous dowsing advocates in history include Leonardo De Vinci (inventor), Robert Boyle (father of modern chemistry), Charles Richet (Nobel prize winner), and General Patton (U.S. Army).
The important thing to bear in mind while dowsing is the need to keep your mind clear and have no expectation of outcome. Thought fields are very powerful and it’s very easy to direct the pendulum with your mind. To allow the pendulum to act as a form of communication link with your subconscious, the conscious mind needs to step out the way.
Muscle Testing
Muscle testing is a non-invasive way of evaluating the body’s imbalances and assessing its needs, and is based on the concept of internal energy, fundamental to traditional Chinese medicine. It involves testing the body’s responses when applying slight pressure to a large muscle, to provide information on energy blockages, the functioning of the organs, nutritional deficiencies, and food sensitivities, among other things.
The technical word for muscle testing is Kinesiology, from the Greek word kinein = to move. Applied Kinesiology makes use of muscle strength as an indicator of an organism’s orderly or disturbed state of health. Although other muscles in the body possess the same energy sensing potentials, the arm (Deltoid / shoulder muscle) offers the easiest access for muscle testing.
Muscle testing has been in existence for only about three decades, dating back to observations made by an American chiropractor, Dr. George Goodheart. Dr. Goodheart noticed that his patient’s muscle strength changed noticeably after chiropractic adjustments. Through further experimentation he discovered that muscle strength could even be influenced by the energy fields of objects coming in close association with the body.
Expressing the mantras for maximum effectiveness
When using the Head Trash Clearance mantras, there is huge scope for being creative in how you express them. That being said, you can achieve very powerful clearance work by simply using the phrases that are provided as part of the Clearance Method. However, as you become more confident in using it, you will find it easier to expand your approach.
Use language that reflects how the head trash is being expressed – don’t edit
If the head trash being presented is someone hating “the kids leaving their goddamn mess everywhere!” then don’t tweak this for the clearance to “my children not being tidy”… stick with how the head trash was first expressed.
Use strong emotional language
Use language that elicits the strongest emotional reaction. This will help to bring any hidden or buried emotion to the surface, which is a good thing for clearance work. It’s not about choosing the interpretation or the language that accurately reflects the actual situation but instead we’ll choose language which will elicit the strongest emotional reaction. We don’t want to tone things down for the purposes of “being polite or respectful”. This highlights a need to be polite or respectful and this in itself needs to be worked on.
Make sure they make sense
Make sure the mantras make sense to the thing you’re working on and the conscious mind accepts them.
Don’t be afraid to be controversial
Sometimes, when you insert your head trash into the mantras, the resulting phrases might sound rude, controversial or even unacceptable (to society or your values). It’s important to remember that we are not embedding hypnotic commands with this work, we are clearing emotional energy with the intention of emotional healing and at times this means we need to get our hands dirty. If you find yourself saying “Oh, I can’t say that!” Then ask yourself why. If it’s because it doesn’t make sense, then change it (see point above). If it’s because it’s triggered something in you, then heal that too, but don’t change it. In fact make it stronger! You’ve struck oil! You’ve identified something that has hidden reserves of emotional energy lurking in your system – this stuff is better out than in. Purge it once and for all.
Add additional mantras if appropriate
The thing you’re working on might naturally suggest a dimension or mantra that is slightly different. Go with it. Follow your intuition.
Use humour
Humour is a very powerful healing tool. If you can incorporate humour into your clearance then do so. Once we can laugh at the thing that was once a trigger for us, we know we’ve healed it.
You might like to think them through in advance to ensure you’re capturing the essence of what you’re working on, and squeezing out all the hidden emotional energy that might be lurking in the cracks.
Don’t be afraid of expressing them in creative ways that will elicit the strongest emotional reaction.
Have fun with it!
